Applicants should have a Polytechnic Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business or any other relevant disciplines.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness.

  • 1. Introduction to FinTech

    Gain insights into the financial technology revolution and disruption. Understand the innovation and opportunities therein.

  • 2. FinTech Strategy

    Learn about the Blue Ocean Strategy and how it can be applied to FinTech to transform business models, improve customer experience, generate insights and drive product-service innovation.

  • 3. Design Thinking in Financial Services

    Discover and adopt human-centred design thinking approach.

  • 4. Cloud Computing & Cybersecurity

    Learn the fundamentals and essentials of cloud computing and cybersecurity.

  • 5. Big Data and Machine Learning in Finance

    Harness the potential of big data and machine learning to compete in today's competitive market.

  • 6. Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies

    Learn to leverage blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies to facilitate value exchange instead of just data.

  • 7. Open banking & API

    Learn about open banking and understand the strategic opportunities and operational challenges.

  • 8. Hackathon

    The hackathon project is a culmination of the knowledge gained across the different modules in this programme. Participants will form their team and start hacking on their idea. All teams will focus on brainstorming, product development & creating a prototype, before presenting their product to judging panels and receiving feedback.

About FinTech Fundamentals Programme

The Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and the Token Economy  Association (TEA SG) have jointly created the 2 month FinTech Fundamentals (FFP) Programme. Through this initiative, we are dedicated in grooming aspiring PMEs into exceptional FinTech & Blockchain leaders in their respective fields of expertise. We are committed to provide continuous engagements, career development platforms and networking opportunities for FFP Programme participants.

The FFP Programme features a stellar line-up of renowned industry practitioners, C-suite leaders and entrepreneurs from locally and internationally grown organisations. Over 500 FinTech professionals will attend our monthly sessions held by esteemed practioners and experts, which aim to train participants in the areas of technical, leadership and soft skills.

Networking opportunities and sharing of experiences by our speakers will also be presented to all participants at every session. The FFP Programme endeavours to equip and certify FinTech professional with the right set of skills required to succeed in the workplace while additionally providing opportunities to expand their network by connecting with fellow practitioners, leaders and entrepreneurs.
